बुग्याल or Bugyal

Refers to the large swathes of alpine pasture lands, which are generally found at an altitude of 3,300m — 4,000m.

दुब or Dub or Cynodon dactylon

The picture shows the doob grass on a plate. The grass symbolises long life given its deep root system and is tucked behind the ear.

हुड़का or Hudka

A small traditional percussion musical instrument that looks like a damru and is played by tightening or loosening the strings using one hand and beating it using another.

खेल or Khel

 A traditional circular formation of people where they move forward and backward to the tunes of the traditional percussion musical instruments of huduka, dhol, and damau.

पिछौड़ा or Picchoda or Picchodi
